A love letter

I did not stick to the intention of "what a big deal, it is a common tourist spot, and I have already been here"! As I began my trek, I had a sudden feeling of contentment. The huge trees that stood on the either side welcomed me with its green tenderness. The clouds were turning dark and made a perfect background to see you! When I was ascending to see you, I could feel the...

Encamping amidst estates-II

The campsite is situated beside the panoramic view of the mountains. We had to hike downhill to reach the campground and the owner received us with a jubilant smile. We had a delicious meal followed by a stream of hiking. It was another solitary place where the water was kissing all the plants and herbs on the way before it sweeps over my soaked feet. Soaking the feet gives me a great refreshment and also...

Yay! Theme is ready!

I came across a poem by Khalil Gibran, "Stand together but not too near like the pillars of the temple stand apart because no two huge trees can grow on each other's shadow". "Rightly said" I muttered to myself. Be it any relationship with people or things, space is important. The more balance we find, the more fortification takes place in the bond. Just imagine the walls of your windpipe clinging to one another. We...

Encamping amidst estates

Boots accelerated his Domminor 400cc from Chennai and reached Kodanad, a beautiful hamlet near the Nilgiris mountains. I was the pillion and the en-route was Vellore-Salem-Mettupalayam-Kodanad. The ride consumed 10 hours to flip from a hustling city to tranquil mountains. We chose a campsite named discover Alpas and booked it earlier. Being an ideal place to experience the state of solitude in us, Alpas is wrapped by the aurora over the skyline and raw, enthralling...

Designation or wisdom filled soul!

Boots rode my scooter to a warehouse to check second handed cars. As we entered, I saw an old man who was neatly dressed with security uniform. He received us with a warm smile and pulled out a note from a desk and noted down our details in English. I was able to grasp his energetic vibe and felt that this man is doing his best in life. But I felt two things, Though his...

Arabian sea through the lens of Varkala

The oceanic waves created an attractive force and I was mesmerized by the calm landscape visible from the rigaht corner of my stay's rooftop. The sea was a few meters away from me and I felt that if I own spiderman's power, I would have pointed the web to the most inclined coconut tree that deliberately kisses the waves every time. Boots was excited too! View from my stay We felt as if we were...

heart touching feedbacks

I am back in class after a break. Just wanted to put in a word about today's teacher, your Lakshmi.Love the way she takes the class. She always has a beaming smile and gives out her instructions in a sing song, dramatic ,dynamic tone which I find really attractive . Even a difficult asana does not stress you out because she makes it feel easy. More than anything she exudes such a very positive vibe in her class which is infectious. After you she is my favourite.💗 It's good to be back.
It was a very beautiful session. Your energy makes everything extremely beautiful!
Today my leg did touch wall most of the time during sirasana and my hands were able to reach toes during sun salutations! Thanks a lot! Much love!
It was an outstanding class. I totally enjoyed it. I felt all the single stretches. This week was very hectic and I was working for longgggg hours. Your class is a magic.
Indeed the best yoga session that I could have come across. It relieved me of all my work stress.
